Assets
All monetary assets are in cash accounts shown below.  No real property.  No insurance.  The account numbers of the plastic are probably the best way to identify the accounts.

The Sterling and Scotia accounts are used as trust accounts and may have client money for services not yet rendered or completed.  As of Aug30.11, there are no client funds in these accounts.  If the accounts are over $500, the excess likely belongs to a client  If so, when you notify clients, ask them all if there are any services that have been paid for that haven't been completed.  

Check with the US Patent and Trademark Office.  1-800-786-9199   I may be setting up an account with them, in which case it would likely have a few thousand.  My USPTO bar # is 42947 and "Customer Number" is 36267.

Patents -- I have a patent application partly granted which will be issued as a patent.  The application number is 12/157888.  The examiner is Andrew Shin -- 571-270-5764.  My other patents are now dead.

Contact these people and tell them to get another lawyer.  Also, you should contact the USPTO and let them know there is one less patent lawyer in their stable.

Post-mortem
Forget the burial at sea, the government makes it a big hassle and the Navy would probably fuck it up anyway.  Torch the body.   Send the ashes to John Lowe with a nice card.  

If you can't find John, you and Ken deliver the ashes to New Zealand and dump them at or near the cemetery at the top of  Whiteman's Valley Rd. in Upper Hutt.  Coordinates - 41 -- 08 -- 09 S // 175 -- 04 -- 28 E.  You'll understand why when you get there. Wayne Guppy, mayor of UH, will show you how to find it.  My old house is .5 mi. south of the intersection of Whiteman's Valley Rd. and Mangaroa Valley Rd.    Rent an RV in Auckland and drive it all the way to Mt. Cook.  It's on me.

Distribution of assets.
    There is no will, and no probate.  No real property, not much personal property.  

    It would probably be best for Mom for her to disclaim and you to hold the assets until she dies, just to be sure if she needs additional funds they are there.  After that, here are some distributions.  You'll have to make them as gifts, but I don't think that will affect your exclusion for inheritance/gift tax.  These are given in dollar values based on present estate of $400,000.  Adjust the sums up or down on a percentage basis according to the final estate. 

    $50,000 of cash assets to Carol.

    Work with Nevalyn -- 614-891-3557 -- and figure out how to best spend $100,000 on the types of projects she works on.  Maybe you can find a tax exempt organization so you can take a deduction.  She may have something already set up.
